There is no set dress code but we recommend that our students wear smart casual attire, which is comfortable to sit and walk in.
Our trainers will be busy setting up the room so we recommend arriving around 5-10 minutes before the class starting time. If you arrive earlier, you may want to wait in a nearby coffee shop or in the lobby if the course is held at a hotel.
We always encourage you to take notes and will provide you with a notebook and pen as well as learning material related to your particular course.
You are allowed to take pictures and film videos of the training session for your own personal use only. Please do not share photos and/or videos on social media unless you have obtained consent from the trainer.
For most of our courses you do not need to bring anything unless instructed to so by the trainer.
All our courses are run in English but we can provide a translator at extra cost if given adequate prior notice.
Our courses are open to adults and children from all cultures and backgrounds. You do not need any previous experience or educational qualifications to register as a student at The British School of Etiquette.

We believe that manners and etiquette should be an integral part of a child’s education. The British School of Etiquette runs courses targeted at children and young people from age six upwards. For more details, please click here.

Most of our training courses are held at our training venue in Mayfair but we can also hold classes in a venue of your choice. Please note that travel costs will be added to the fee.

Postponement of any course that has already been booked and paid for will only be considered on a case-by-case basis. For our cancellation policy and full terms and conditions please click here.
